That is the concept behind Cruise N Groove – Elvis Meets The Legends. In an extravaganza that features over 40 music acts, including many of the world’s best Elvis Tribute Artists, music fans are in for a treat on this seven-night cruise, departing Sydney in November 2023.
Tribute Artists have been a well-loved part of music festival voyages, so when it came time to organise 2023’s cruise program, Choose Your Cruise, the company responsible for bringing the best music acts to Australian waters for over a decade, knew a team of award-winning Elvis’ and other classic Rock N Roll artists would be a winning combination due to overwhelming demand from previous cruise guests.
Blue Suede Cruise will combine the best elements from Choose Your Cruise’s previous 50’s/60’s & Elvis music charters, which have included their inaugural charter in 2010 under the same namesake of Blue Suede Cruise, Rock the Boat 1 (2011) & Rock the Boat 2 (2012), Rock the Boat Salute to the Sixties (2016) and of course 2018’s Cruise N Groove – Elvis Meets The Legends.
Choose Your Cruise’s Caitlin Manov says the team are very excited about the 2023 line-up. “Elvis is undoubtedly the biggest legend in Rock N Roll and has influenced musicians that transcends genres for the past 60 years,” she says. “We have always payed homage to The King on board Rock the Boat, having at least one Elvis Tribute Artist (ETA) on board and seeing how much our passengers love the energy and sense of nostalgia that comes with someone performing his songs, it is an honour to provide a 7-night cruise dedicated to his music and legacy.”
